A workshop led by Morgan Mangelsen & Maria Fernandez Pello
Thursday, Feb.26 at 5pm
Alienated Majesty Books, 5-7 pm
In this session of AfterSchool, Austin-based landscape architect Morgan Mangelsen and researcher Maria Fernandez Pello introduce us to the concept of autographic environments. Drawing from Dietmar Offenhuber’s book, “Autographic Design” (2023), they will discuss how they think about and use environmental traces in their respective works. The presentation will be followed by a short workshop in which participants will learn how to apply autographic techniques to learn about their environment.
