The Bureau hosts meetings and events all over campus at UT Austin. Some of our events are hybrid. We try to maintain a regular meeting place in WCP 4.120.

Open Lab Hours:

Open M-F from 9am-4pm except when classes and seminars are being held. Schedule changes each semester.

Collective Mapping Workshop
March 26th, 2026. 5:30-7:30pm

Collective mapping is a cartographic practice that seeks to challenge dominant narratives about spaces and cities. To do so, participants collect and reorganize their everyday experiences and memories to construct a collective view of the city. By the end of this workshop, participants will have developed a new, more critical understanding of the city of Austin, one grounded in each participant’s memories. This is a fun opportunity to play with maps, senses, emotions, and different experiences of place.
