The Bureau hosts meetings and events all over campus at UT Austin. Some of our events are hybrid. We try to maintain a regular meeting place in WCP 4.120.

To inaugurate the Carceral Edgelands season of fieldwork we invited anthropologists, writers, and photographers to help set the tone for the project with a set of short presentations. We heard readings that explore edgelands, affects of exclusion, stories of encounter, and in-between spaces and we experienced images and sounds that account for infrastructural vagaries exceeding and troubling descriptive conventions.
